Hi! My name is Yunjia and I am a 3rd Year Computer Engineering Student at the University of Toronto specializing in Computer Software and minoring in Artificial Intelligence.
I am passionate about all topics related to software, web development, and machine learning. I am currently working at PTC in Montreal as a SWE. In the past, I have also worked with machine learning as a student researcher where I helped develop a new framework in cross-silo federated learning. Through my work and volunteer experiences, I have developed skills such as adaptability, continuous learning, and teamwork. In the future, I hope to utilize my skills and experiences into making our world more sustainable. In my spare time, I love to bake, make videos, and travel!

Designed and programmed a personal website from scratch. The website includes an About Us, Projects, Experience, and Contact us Page. The website makes use of HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
Fully functional mapper application designed using the ArcGIS API and C++. Map uses data structures to organize large amounts of data and displays information such as point of interests, features, transit ways, and more. The map works for different cities and is compatible with different languages. Navigation is also possible with the map using Dijkstra and A* algorithms. The path can be visualized on the map and guided through detailed directions display.
As a computer engineer major, I have gained relevant skills in hardware and software. This includes being proficient at C++, C, MATLAB, Verilog, and ARM Assembly. My work experience has allowed me to further develop skills in Python, Java, and machine learning frameworks. Examples can be found on my Github.

I participated in many leadership positions and have experience managing small to medium groups (3-10). I am experienced in communication and task allocation using project management specific tools (i.e. Gantt Chart). I am very organized and have excellent time management skills always finishing tasks early and to the best quality possible.

Have experience with website design primarily using CSS and HTML. Worked with all parts of web design from wire framing & brainstorming to website launch. Furthermore, I have experience in marketing and design allowing a visually pleasing website to be created.
